Well, we've said it before, and we'll say it again...we're always happy to speak to the press, but before you give us a call PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU'VE ACTUALLY LOOKED AT OUR WEB SITE!!!

A string of awkward interviews culminated with an interesting discussion between Mike and John "I'm a complete dumbass" Maynard from some Seattle morning zoo team. The majority of the interview was spent trying to get Mr. Maynard to understand we didn't toss a bowling ball down the highway from Chicago to Vegas. More details are available in one of Mike's columns for Negative Waves. And why you're there, feel free to browse the site and gorge yourself on the literary buffet you will find.

Oddly enough, the public's interest in our semi-interesting lives seems to be growing after the trip's completion. If you're in the Salt Lake area, you can catch us on the Todd and Erin show, B98.7. We're a bit vague on when that's going to air - perhaps it already did? If not, it might be played on 04/24/03, sometime between 5:30 and 10 AM MST.

If you're a Chicago native, and you're up early because you have a real job, you can hear us at 7:40 AM on 04/24, 106.7, the Fish. Yes, it's a Christian station, but that's the great thing about bowling - it transcends religion, politics, gender and fashion.

As if that wasn't enough, we're also doing other spots on 04/24. At 7AM CST, Matt will be on Q106.5 in Iowa. At 9ish CST, Matt and Todd will be talking to Portland's finest Country Western station, KWJJ, 99.5. Hopefully Matt will wear his new cowboy hat to help him get into character.

As a side note, we noticed that Yahoo Travel and USA Today posted blurbs about BTV.

If you're in the St. Louis area April 6th, and like to get up early and listen to the radio, you can catch the Bowling to Vegas crew on 550 KTRS. We'll be in the studio, spouting off brilliant observations and witticisms at 7:30 AM. Of course, at 7:30 AM our snappy banter may not be up to its usual snappiness. But we look forward to pretending that we're Eric Bogosian in "Talk Radio". Or Dan Aykroyd and Walter Matthau in "Couch Trip". Or maybe like that Frasier show that somebody must be watching...the damn thing's been on the air for like 28 years.

For those of you who weren't sitting around Saturday night listening to Chicago talk radio, Todd and Mike discussed matters of great importance with Nick Digilio on WGN, AM 720. NIck has also interviewed prestigious talents such as Bruce Campbell, Kevin Murphy, and Stuart Gordan. Those guys are pretty cool, so by association we feel that we are now pretty cool as well.

Although we haven't had a chance to slice together the highlights yet, the following points were brought to the table:

  • Drunk Dave Matthew's fans suck.
  • All agreed that Fandango and Brain Candy are excellent films.
  • Perhaps our bowling route should be altered to include Reno, so as to bowl in the National Bowling Stadium, where we're pretty sure the big tournament in Kingpin was shot.
  • Todd and Nick were both in Municipal Stadium in 1992 at the same time, watching Nolan Ryan pitch. They proceeded to discuss this at great lengths. Mike, who knows nothing about sports, made a sandwich during this part of the interview.
  • Much fuss was made over our first official sponsor, bowlingshirt.com. See how good we take care of our sponsors? Wouldn't you like to sponsor us?
